Scooby Doo Games

After the success of its first movie, Scooby doo which was released in 2002, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed was released in 2004. The game is based on the movie and is as action packed and adventurous as the movie. This game is designed especially for the younger gamers, but even the older ones are in love with it. With spooky music and the video of the titles opening cut scene, executed with the game engine, the game follows the story line which the people will love.

The gamers playing the game are easily able to identify the controls which are very user friendly. The main character, Scooby doo is able to perform some special attacks like the spin attacks on the enemies, double jump and belly flop. The gamers are able to navigate through the platform of the game, break open the crates which are found in the game, and gains Scooby snacks, a treat which Scooby loves. The gamers also gain a weird and an important substance called the Mubber, which will later enable the character in the game to get new suits and costumes along with some special abilities. Along with all this game play, Scooby has to fight all the monsters and ghosts which come in the way as his enemies.

The biggest change in contrast to the previous games of the Scooby series is his ability to don new and improved suits and acquire new and advanced abilities. Specialized machines are available all over the levels which enables him to transform the Mubber with him into the different suits. He can change into a kung fu hero with one of the suits and show his professional martial art moves, or he can use a bat suit and fly away. He can even use a Robin Hood outfit and become a perfect archer, though he shoots plungers instead of arrows. These three suits inject into the game play some serious strategy and thinking along with the awesome experience which the gamer gains. While in kung fu costume, he can even blast away some tough barriers which were otherwise impossible to penetrate.

This game is though upon a lot. Influenced by the classics in the cartoons, Scooby has to travel through haunted mansions to scary theme parks, even to mock china town!! At one point of the game, he has to swim across an underground stream avoiding the whirlpools and other breakers alongside. Though there is no variety available in the character to play in the game. Though throughout the game, Scooby can interact with different team members whenever they are required. To enhance his life meter, he meets Velma who finds clues and Shaggy who cooks for him.

Though a lot of fun for the gamers, this game may be challenging enough for the younger ones as they fall and run and escape from the hideous monsters that come in their way. This is a game which is a treat for the Scooby fans and a new enjoyment for the newbie's.
